LYN BARHAM

È una ricercatrice inglese, ospitata dal LaRIOS nel 2015. È Fellow del National Institute for Career Education and Counselling (NICEC, UK) e Research Associate del Career Development Institute (CDI, UK). È stata membro dell’Executive Committee dell’International Association for Educational and Vocational Guidance (IAEVG) per dieci anni, fino al 2007.
È co-editrice dei volumi Constructing the Future: Diversity, Inclusion and Social Justice (2011) e Career Development Policy and Practice: the Tony Watts Reader (2015). È stata primo autore del Professionalising Career Guidance (Cedefop, 2009), e ora è ad hoc reviewer per l’International Journal for Educational and Vocational Guidance.

I suoi interessi nell’ambito del career counselling riguardano le tematiche della transizione lavoro-pensionamento e le azioni attuate per prolungare la vita lavorativa. Da molti anni si occupa dei temi della sostenibilità ambientale, e il ruolo dei consulenti di orientamento di fronte a queste problematiche.
