Professor Salvatore Soresi awarded by Counseling Division, International Association of Applied Psychology (other images)

Professor Salvatore Soresi received, during the International Congress of the International Association of Applied Psychology, in Paris, the Award 'For Distinguished Contributions to International Counseling Psychology' promoted by Counseling Division 16. Professor Mark Savickas, Northeastern Ohio Medical University, handing the award, highlighted the outstanding work of professor Soresi in building a rich network of international relations and his ability to bring together researchers and scholars from different countries, giving impulse, with particularly creative stimuli to research and to high quality training for professionals and young researchers..

    During the International Counseling Psychology Conference "Creating the Future: Counseling Psychologists in a Changing World", Chicago (Illinois, USA) from 6 to 9 March 2008, prof. Salvatore Soresi was awarded with "The 2008 Distinguished Contributions to the International Advancement of the Counseling Profession Award", for his exceptional achievements, visionary leadership, scholarships, wisdom, cross-national collaboration, and long-standing contributions that have affected innumerable people around the world.
    The conference was organised by the Society of Counseling Psychology Division 17, the American Psychological Association, the Council of Counseling Psychology Training Programs and the Association of Counseling Center Training Agencies.
