Mariana Monteiro Morais, Clinical and Health Psychologist, is currently a PhD candidate in the project “Testing a Complex Trait (Cross-Domain) Model and Developing an Open-Access Career Psychological Assessment Battery” at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, University of Coimbra, Portugal. With experience in psychosocial intervention with children and adolescents across multiple institutional settings, she has worked in clinical, educational, and child protection contexts with at-risk youth. Her current research project in Educational and Developmental Psychology focuses on vocational guidance, adopting a holistic and integrated perspective of vocational behaviour. Her research activities primarily concentrate on the study of individual differences (i.e., interests, abilities, personality), adaptation and validation of career psychological assessment tools, and development of career intervention programs. During her doctoral studies, she completed a research mobility period at La.R.I.O.S. (Laboratory for Research and Intervention in Career Choices) at the University of Padua during the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic years. This international mobility experience facilitated knowledge exchange with leading experts in career intervention, significantly enhancing her professional development as both a psychologist and a researcher.
