Paul J. Hartung

Full Professor of Behavioral Sciences, Department of Family and Community Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University. His research focus is primarily on career-building theory and medical practice and career development. He is currently editor of The Career Development Quarterly (2014-). He is also a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Vocational Behavior (2003-), Journal of Career Assessment (1997-) and International Journal for Educational and Vocational Guidance (2012-). He is a member of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP; Division 16), American Psychological Association (APA; Division 17) and National Career Development Association. He received the John L. Holland Award from Division 17 of the APA for his achievements in personality and profession-focused research and is the current president (2018-22) of Division 16 of the IAAP (Counseling Psychology).
