She is an UK Researcher, hosted by Larios Laboratory in 2015. She is a Fellow of the National Institute for Careers Education and Counselling (NICEC, UK) and a Research Associate of the Career Development Institute (CDI, UK). She was a member of the Executive Committee of the International Association for Educational and Vocational Guidance (IAEVG) for ten years, until 2007.
She is co-editor of the volumes “Constructing the Future: Diversity, Inclusion and Social Justice” (2011) and “Career Development Policy and Practice: the Tony Watts Reader” (2015). She was one of the first author of the Professionalising Career Guidance (Cedefop, 2009), and she’s an ad hoc reviewer of the International Journal for Educational and Vocational Guidance.
Her interests in Career Counseling refer to work-retirement transition and the actions implemented to prolong working lives issues. From many years she deals with issues of environmental sustainability, and the role of career guidance counselors in this field.
